Circulatory (Swedish) Massage

Circulatory (Swedish) Massage is a very relaxing and nurturing style of bodywork. It combines oils with an array of strokes such as effleurage, petrissage, rolling, kneading, and percussion to help the body improve the circulation of blood and lymph. The benefits of this type of bodywork are wide-ranging and include deep relaxation, relief from aches and pains, decreased stress levels in the body, enhanced mental clarity, improved appearance, and greater flexibility. Best of all, it just feels great!

Jin Shin (Energy Work)

Jin Shin is an ancient form of energy work. It is a powerful, but gentle healing modality I describe as a cross between acupuncture and Reiki. It restores a sense of balance and well-being.

Structural Integration

Structural integration (commonly called Rolfing) frees up restricted connective tissue by using a practice very similar to Deep Tissue. Rolfers typically prescribe a sequence of ten sessions to realign the whole body, but I employ structural integration where needed within a regular massage session.

NeuroMuscular Therapy (NMT)

NeuroMuscular Therapy (NMT) focuses on relieving trigger points—areas in the body where nerve signals get crossed, triggering a sensation in another part of the body. These hyper-sensitive points can be the source of great pain and tension, but often one is not aware of the trigger point itself, only the resulting pain elsewhere in the body. NMT is very effective at relieving problematic pain and restoring range of motion.

Deep Tissue Massage

Deep Tissue eliminates pain, increases range of motion, and rejuvenates the entire body. Deep Tissue is done without oil, using slow, deep strokes. It penetrates deep into the muscle tissue and fascia, stretching them to eliminate adhesions (places where tissues are glued together) and scar tissue. This is very effective at reducing pain and restoring range of motion.

Cranio-Sacral Therapy

Cranio-Sacral Therapy is a hands-on method of evaluating and manipulating the cranio-sacral system, which consists of the bones of the cranium, the spinal column, and the membranes that surround the brain, the spinal cord, and the cerebral spinal fluid.

Subtle adjustments of the system can have a profound effect on the entire Central Nervous System and affect every aspect of your body. Cranio-Sacral Therapy is very relaxing and is credited with improving a wide range of ailments.

IntraOral Massage

IntraOral Massage releases the muscles of the jaw. It can help alleviate jaw tension, soreness from clenching teeth, grinding teeth (bruxism), TMJ pain, and the headaches and migraines that these conditions can cause.

Scalar Wave Laser

Scalar Laser Therapy uses infra-red, red, and/or violet lasers to reduce muscular, joint, cartilage, and bone pain and accelerate healing. These cold lasers penetrate deep into the body and generate warmth in the tissues, increase circulation, and promote healing. They have been used by enlightened naturopaths for decades.

Bach Flower Remedies

Bach Flower Remedies balance negative emotions by neutralizing the energetic imbalance that causes them. They can even eliminate long-standing emotional baggage, restoring balance and harmony. Bach Flower Remedies do not aggravate any medical condition or interfere with any medication. They are safe for children, adults, seniors, and pets. They are completely natural. Unlike medications, they have no side effects. They were developed over 90 years ago by Dr. Edward Bach, a prominent English physician, immunologist, bacteriologist, and homeopath.
